Individual Student Tutoring

The Tutoring Center is currently hiring Tutors/Academic Coaches.

Some of the benefits that students gain through our tutoring/academic coaching program include:

  • Paid Position
  • work up to 20 hours a week
  • flexible schedule
  • Indicate the courses you are willing to work on and assist with
  • providing training throughout each semester (3-4 trainings)
  • Resume Builder, Volunteer Opportunities, and Leadership Opportunities
  • All weekends off

Eligibilities:

  • Being an SIU Student
  • have a 3.0 GPA or above
  • work-study-eligible
  • Enroll in at least 3 courses within the last year
